At The Ryokan Collection, our mission is to build a presence that is equal to that of any luxury hotel brand in the world, and we continue to expand our presence in the global hospitality industry. We are Japan’s first luxury “Ryokan” (traditional Japanese inn) consortium, with a membership that now totals 50 small Ryokan and hotels, all of which meet our strict criteria and have been carefully evaluated by our staff.
To introduce Japan’s wonderful “omotenashi (traditional hospitality) culture” to the world, our services include extensive overseas marketing, which would be difficult or impossible for a small, independent Ryokan. The core business of our company is to help develop local economies and promote cultural industries with Ryokan at their center by introducing Japanese culture appropriately to the world.
